Christina’s story is closely connected to Guadalupe. It is the community where she grew up, where she built her family, and where she continues to live and serve. Her experiences as a mother, partner, daughter, and neighbor inform how she listens to residents and understands the everyday concerns of local families.
Leadership Through Listening
Serving on the Guadalupe City Council has reinforced Christina’s belief that leadership is about listening, showing up, and doing the work. Before she became a councilmember, Christina was a member of this community—and she still is. Her approach to leadership is grounded in remaining connected, accessible, and accountable to Guadalupe residents.

Why Christina Is Running
Christina is running for mayor to continue serving the community she calls home and to focus attention on the issues residents have identified as important to Guadalupe’s future. Her campaign is organized around three priorities: strengthening public safety, creating opportunities for youth, and investing in Guadalupe. Through the campaign message “A Stronger Guadalupe Together,” Christina is emphasizing listening, participation, and collaboration among residents, local organizations, businesses, and public institutions.
